The band – Dave Corley (Tommy Shaw) rhythm and lead guitar and mandolin to boot, Brian Dixon (Dennis De Young) and rhythm guitar and tambourine, Paul Sixx (bass guitar, rhythm), Gene Perry (keyboard, accordion), Terry Simms (drums). just the list of different musical instruments it takes to tribute Styx lets you know the musical talent of this band.

Grand Illusion covers all the top hits, “Come Sail Away” “Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)” “Mr. Roboto” “The Best of Times” “Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)” “Lady” “Babe” and more! They also do some lesser know great songs like “Miss America”.
I knew some of the Styx most popular songs, but wasn’t really expecting to love this set. I was thinking I didn’t remember that many great songs from the band. That’s NOT the case at all! I knew almost every song and every song was over the top! Their ability to capture the true sound of each song just blew us away.
